Say ‘Pants’ to Poverty says unison

UnisonPantsOn Friday 5th February between 12 noon and 1.30 Unison@gcu are having a collection for Smalls for All (www.smallsforall.org): a charity that collects and distributes underwear to women and children in Africa who need our help.

There will be a stall for donations in the reception area of the Govan Mbeki building on Friday at that time.

Underwear is a luxury some people can’t afford. Giving pants and bras may seem like a small thing, but it can make a huge difference. For example, not having underwear can mean young girls miss days off school each month.

There will be a collection box for:
New ladies’ pants size 8–16
New children’s pants age 3–15
New bras

Well-worn bras that can be recycled in the UK to raise funds

If you can spare 20 minutes Unison members are asked to help on the stall, remember every little helps!Unison logo
