Who are the GCU Executive?

According to the University’s Website:

“The University Executive provides senior leadership across Glasgow Caledonian University. The University Executive Group meets weekly and provides advice to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor on all aspects of the leadership and management of the University”.

At time of writing (March 2024), the University Executive consists of 10 individuals – the Principal, Deputy Principal (Provost) and Chief Operating Officer, plus another 7 individuals either entitled Vice-Principals or Pro Vice-Chancellors.

The University Executive Group (UEG) meets weekly, consisting of the above individuals and eight others, essentially the Chief Financial Officer, the Deans of Schools (and of Enterprise and Innovation), the  Directors of GCU London, the Yunus Centre, and the President of GCUNY.
